This module will describes the precautions to take while a driver is enroute to a destination, including trailer inspections, making turns and dealing with pedestrians. Entering and exiting smaller areas such as fuel stops or parking lots will also be covered. After completion, participants will be able to:
- Explain how to properly inspect and connect a trailer
- Explain how distraction and complacency contribute to fixed object strikes and collisions
- Describe how to take precautions when making turns and dealing with pedestrians
- List the steps to enter and exit a fueling area or parking lot
