This module demonstrates how to correctly complete a record of duty status and explains the situations in which a driver would use Remarks, edits and annotations. The two duty cycles will be explained, as well as how to use deferrals and restarts. After completion, participants will be able to:
- Record daily duty status as per the Hours of Service regulations
- Define the two duty cycles and calculate your available hours in a cycle
- Explain how to use Remarks, edits and annotations
- Describe situations in which deferrals and restarts can be used
