This module will describe the different exceptions that apply when completing the record of duty status, including personal use of your vehicle and the sleeper berth exception. Other exceptions covered include adverse and emergency conditions, driving within 160 km and driving north of 60°. After completion, participants will be able to:
- Explain the requirements of the sleeper berth exception for single and team drivers
- List the conditions of personal use of the motor vehicle and the 160 km exemption
- Describe when it is appropriate to exceed on-duty and driving limits
