This module covers the eight inspection areas on a straight truck, including the front of the vehicle, engine area, driver and passenger doors, rear and cab area.
After completion, participants will be able to:
- Describe the areas to inspect as they approach the vehicle and in the engine area
- Explain how to check the condition of fluids, belts and hoses
- Explain what to look for when inspecting brakes, suspension, wheels and tires at each axle
- Describe what to check for at the rear of the truck and in the cab area
